KSCPA Protects the Interests of CPAs at the
Kansas State House

Every day, Kansas legislators debate public policy, make decisions, and pass legislation that directly impacts CPAs and their clients or organizations they serve.

The KSCPA is a watchdog, advocate, and true champion for CPAs in Kansas. It is the only organization totally dedicated to protecting the interests of CPAs and those they serve with state and federal lawmakers, the Kansas Board of Accountancy, and other regulators.

The KSCPA tracks bills throughout the legislative session. Through its Legislative Executive Committee, a position or action may be taken to support or oppose a bill under consideration. The members of the KSCPA are available to inform legislators and asked to testify about the impact of bills on businesses in Kansas, especially those related to taxation.

The KSCPA Political Action Committee tracks the legislators and makes contributions to candidates who serve the interests of the CPA profession. Members of the KSCPA may contribute annually to the PAC.
