KSCPA Leadership
Governance, Leadership, Vision, and Strategy
The KSCPA exists because of its members who are CPAs in public practice, business, industry, government, education, those who are retired or have achieved life member status as well as the affiliate members and students who are not members.
A team of professionals who dedicate their workdays to achieving the vision and strategies of the KSCPA leadership manage the KSCPA operations.
An Executive Committee and Board of Directors, nominated by a committee composed of past chairs and the current Executive Committee and voted on by the members at the annual business meeting, govern the KSCPA. Listed below are the current members of the KSCPA Executive Committee and Board of Directors. The directors each serve a three-year term.
A Board of Trustees nominated by the nominating committee and voted on by the members at the annual business meeting, govern the Educational Foundation of the KSCPA. The officers and trustees each serve a three-year term and are listed below. The Educational Foundation awards more than $50,000 in scholarships to accounting students and grants to faculty each year.
The leadership of the KSCPA does much more than govern;
the leadership
creates the vision, strategies, and action plans implemented by the KSCPA team.
