GallantFew, Inc helps service-members transition from active duty back home by matching them with mentors - themselves military veterans, now successful in their post-military civilian careers.

Today's OIF/OEF veterans face unemployment rates double the US national average, and nearing 22%. Veterans are 3-4 times more likely to be unemployed than a civilian and the Veterans Administration tells us that 18 veterans commit suicide on average every day.

By providing a mentor - a veteran who has carried the same ruck, flown in the same planes, dug foxholes in the same sand - we create a social and professional development network that provides emotional support and physical assistance when required in order to reduce veteran unemployment and homelessness and prevent veteran suicide.

Since becoming a 501(c)3 in July 2010 we have helped nearly 100 veterans. We are aggressively building our network both locally in Wichita and nation-wide and are anticipating rapid expansion both in terms of veterans seeking assistance and in donations/funding sources.

GallantFew was founded in Wichita by a retired US Army Major and Ranger veteran. The majority of our board members are in Wichita, and we seek a military veteran CPA interested in participating on our Board of Directors.
