Accountant, A/P Budget & General Operations
This position is primarily responsible for the Bank's budget and disbursement functions and assists with the daily general ledger closing and reporting function to include:

• Accounts payable and cash disbursements, accruals and prepaid functions.
• Bank budget accumulation and preparation processes, including the related monthly analysis and reporting.
• Process capital expenditure requests.
• Assists in the daily and monthly general ledger closing and preparation of internal financial statements.
• Assist in the testing and implementation of purchased software.
• Maintain the Bank's fixed assets system and lease amortization schedules.
• Housing and community development accounting requirements.
• Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) stock and advance reporting.
• Accounting for directors' fees and related year-end tax information filing.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, preferably in accounting, and 3+ years of relative experience.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and theories required.
• Knowledge and experience with MS Office products and accounting software applications.
• Efficient 10-key operation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to working independently and operating all types of office equipment.
• Ability to work the number of hours required to meet the demands of this position.
