Yes, it is amazing how far we've come, and yet we have so much further to go.  By coming together at a conference like this, we will create lasting relationships and learn how we can achieve success together.

Don't miss this great opportunity to learn from one of the foremost women in the U.S. - Jennifer Wilson of Convergence Coaching!

Event includes the Women to Watch Luncheon where four of our AICPA/KSCPA members will receive the prestigious "AICPA/KSCPA Women to Watch Award" for 2012. Tommye Barie, CPA, a member of the AICPA Board of Directors and Past President of the Florida Institute of CPAs will present the awards and address the group.

Highlights

Women as Powerful and Effective Communicators
Building on ideas from our highly-rated Women's Conference in 2011, this workshop will help you gain power and confidence in your role as a leader, mentor, and manager.  Together, we'll explore the unique elements that cause you to behave, communicate, and react the way that you do when working with others.  We'll focus on communications strategies to enable you to be a more cohesive and collaborative leader and make a bigger difference at work and in your various communities.

In our half-day together, we'll cover:
o Gender communications differences and ideas to avoid stereotypical traps
o Generational communications differences and ways to motivate people of all ages
o Communication methodologies - including words and phrases -- to  help you navigate difficult conversations

In addition, we'll take time to practice real-life conversations to ensure that you have both the knowledge and the skill to be a more powerful and effective communicator!

Objectives

This conference provides participants with the knowledge necessary to lead the profession and in the community in the 21st Century.
