High School Merit Scholarships

Offered to high school seniors entering a Kansas college or university the following academic school year. ACT or SAT test scores must be submitted by a counselor or a teacher. Completion of a questionnaire is required. Scholarships are selected by the KSCPA Accounting Recruitment & Education Committee. Contact your counselor or business/accounting teacher for full details.

Byron Bird Graduate Scholarship

All Kansas colleges and universities are encouraged to select one graduate or graduate school candidate to apply for this scholarship. Submission of application is required. The recipient is selected by the Board of Trustees of the Educational Foundation. Byron Bird is a practicing CPA and was the first recipient of the American Institute of CPAs' National Public Service Award.

John J. Killian Scholarship - Independent College or University

Funded by Kansas CPAs in honor of the KSCPA's first full-time Executive Director, each independent Kansas college or university is encouraged to select one junior accounting major to apply for the scholarship. One recipient is selected by the Board of Trustees of the Educational Foundation. Contact your independent college or university accounting department for details.
