KSCPA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS

Offered to high school seniors who will be entering a Kansas college or University the following academic school year. ACT or SAT test scores must be submitted by a counselor or a teacher. Completion of a questionnaire is required. Scholarships are chosen by the Accounting Recruitment & Education Committee of the KSCPA at its spring meeting in May. Contact your counselor for full details.

DEADLINE:

Submission of Test Scores - March 3, 2008

 

Submission of Questionnaire - April 14, 2008


Scholarship amounts:

(1) at  $1,300

 

(1) at  $   900

 

(1) at  $   800

(1) at  $   700
(1) at  $   600

 

(5) at  $   500

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

Offered to one graduate and one upper-class student at each of the six regent institutions and Washburn University. Recipient is chosen by the respective accounting faculties. Contact your university accounting department for information.

DEADLINE:

July 1 SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: Seven at $2,000 each

JOHN J. KILLIAN SCHOLARSHIP

Each independent Kansas college is encouraged to select one junior accounting major to apply for the scholarship. A recipient is selected by the Board of Trustees of the Educational Foundation. Contact your independent college or university accounting department for details.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

April 17 SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: One at $2,000

KSCPA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

Same as College.

DEADLINE:

July 1 SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: Seven at $2,250

BYRON BIRD GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

Each regent institution and Washburn University is encouraged to select one graduate student or graduate school candidate to apply for this scholarship. Submission of application required.
Recipient chosen by Board of Trustees of the Educational Foundation from applications.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

March 6 SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: One at $2.500
