KSCPA Implements Vision and Strategies of the Leadership – The KSCPA operations are managed by a team of professionals in the Topeka office located at 114 SE 8th Ave. Technology is outsourced to Mike Reda, owner of SOFTWARE First!, and the governmental affairs are represented by Bright & Carpenter Consulting, LLC.

Meet the Team:

  • Natasha Schamberger Natasha Schamberger, CPA President/CEO

    Natasha is responsible for effectively executing the KSCPA’s strategic plan that outlines leadership’s vision to be a community that connects, innovates, advocates and learns. Further, Natasha promotes Kansas CPAs’ interests and livelihood by monitoring key issues and building strong relationships with regulators, policy makers and educators. Previously, Natasha served as Associate Director of Firm Services at AICPA and she spent nearly a decade in public accounting. She graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in accounting.

  • Karen Mitchell Karen Mitchell, CPA, CGMA Chief Financial Officer

    Karen is responsible for all financial aspects of the Society/Foundation/PAC, the website, human resources, and day-to-day operations of the KSCPA.

  • Danielle Bulson Danielle Hologram Director of Learning

    Danielle is responsible for managing student programs, leadership programs, chapters and directing the learning programs. This includes creating relevant programs across the state through collaboration with KSCPA volunteers, providers, and vendors. The programs are presented in a variety of platforms, and Danielle stays alert to changes in CPE and technology and works closely with the AICPA and other state associations.

  • Amy Dubach Amy Dubach Associate Director of Member Engagement

    Amy is responsible for effectively implementing and executing the member engagement initiative with an emphasis on membership development as it relates to retention, recruitment, communication, building relationships and small communities, member satisfaction and project management. This includes determining innovative ways to communicate to members and participating in outreach and activities with universities, firms and organizations.

  • Rita Barnard Rita Barnard Technical Services Manager Direct line 785-272-4526

    Rita is responsible for managing the Peer Review program in Kansas, the KSCPA ethics enforcement, and the Political Action Committee. She serves as a liaison to KSCPA technical and legislative task forces and is the KSCPA team liaison to the Kansas Board of Accountancy. Rita also assists the Chief Financial Officer with accounting responsibilities.
