Membership Packages + Rates

Overview

The annual membership term runs from September 1 to August 31.
We pro-rate the first year, depending on the time of year you join and your membership package.
Membership packages are nonrefundable.
Per the KSCPA Bylaws, $25 of the membership package is allocated to fund scholarships and programs that promote the accounting profession to brilliant young minds of the future! Note that this portion of the membership is not prorated.
Chapter memberships and contributions to the Educational Foundation of the KSCPA and the KSCPA PAC are optional. Contributions to the Educational Foundation are tax-deductible as charitable contributions. KSCPA PAC contributions are not tax-deductible.
KSCPA and chapter dues may be deducted as a business expense but not as a charitable contribution. KSCPA estimates that three percent (3%) of net dues are not deductible because of KSCPA’s lobbying activities on behalf of its members (as per IRS Sec. 6033).

Public Practice – $385

Individuals having a CPA certificate or license and working in public practice

CPA in Business, Industry, Government or Education – $345

Individuals having a CPA certificate or license and working in business, industry, government, or education

Out of State – $235

Individuals having a CPA certificate or license and residing in a location other than Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, or Oklahoma

Retired – $60

Individuals having a CPA certificate or license and are retired

In Transition – $60

Individuals having a CPA certificate or license and are unemployed or between jobs (contact the KSCPA for the package code)

Non-CPA Affiliate – $235

Individuals without a CPA certificate or license but are an employee of a public accounting firm

Individuals without a CPA certificate or license but are an employee in business, industry, government, or education working under the direct supervision of a CPA

Individuals without a CPA certificate or license but are an accounting educator

Students/CPA Candidates – $0

Individuals without a CPA certificate or license but are taking accounting classes or are a CPA candidate
