Sellers typically lead the M&A process and marketing, financial analysis, and due diligence are presented from the seller's perspective. However, buyers are necessary to complete the deal and their priorities must be reflected in the transaction process. Without a focus on buyer priorities, deals can be lost, discounted, or at the least, trouble.
