Tax Managers, Do You Want More?

Do you want more time with the people in your life outside the office while having a large impact in your client’s life?  Do you need a better work and life balance?   You can’t have it all, but you can have a more manageable schedule that leaves time for your family.  Tax911.com Inc. wants to leverage and maximize your time and experience as a tax professional.  We want you to enjoy preparing 1040 and business taxes again.

The benefit of working at Tax911.com Inc. is the firm’s flexibility of scheduling.  The paperless work environment allows this flexibility.  We use Creative Solutions’ Ultra Tax, File Cabinet, and Practice CS programs in a Virtual Office Platform.

We are looking for a full-time (1,700-2,080 hours per year) tax manager to review and prepare 1040, 5471, 1065, 990 & 1120S, due to firm growth.  The position would start with a training period to become familiar with our client base and firm processes.  We are happy to train a tax manager to prepare 5471.  Form 5471 is the form that American citizens report their ownership of a non-US corporation. Work is year-round depending on the workflow and requires overtime availability for peak time.

We are looking for a CPA with 10+ years’ experience preparing and reviewing individual tax returns for Americans living and working overseas.  Many of our clients own foreign charitable or business entities.  We are looking for a tax manager experienced in signing tax returns and advising clients.  The individual must be able to identify tax issues, be capable of explaining and discussing complex tax scenarios with clients, manage client expectations, and mentor and train staff.

Tax911.com Inc. is a local CPA firm with a worldwide clientele. We prepare US tax returns for overseas Americans in 100 countries and over 35 US states.  Our clients are International Teachers, Business Owners, and Pastors around the world.

We have a unique approach for processing tax files.  A tax file is first reviewed by administrative staff for completeness.  Then common tax forms like W-2, and 1099’s, and Schedule A, C, and E organizer information are entered and/or requested before the tax accountant touches the file.  The file is generally complete and ready for the accountant to focus on tax strategy, filing methodology, and tax planning.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with Forms 2555, 4361, 1116, 1040, 1065, 990 1120S, and 5471.  In addition, preference will be given to those who have prepared and/or reviewed Form 5471 for the 2018 & 2019 tax years.  The candidate must be professional both in written correspondence and speaking to clients and co-workers.  They should be detail-oriented and committed to client satisfaction.  The candidate is expected to be willing to work in a paperless environment and communicate effectively with co-workers who work remotely.   The candidate must be capable of working efficiently during peak busy times and able to provide a completed product or tax return.  They will be eager to learn and willing to teach other team members.

Remote work will be considered for well-qualified candidates.  Flexible hours and health insurance are available.
