Manager, Statewide Consolidated Reporting, State of Kansas

This position serves as a Section Manager within Office of Accounts and Reports on the progress of new initiatives, resolutions to sensitive agency or internal issues, legislative actions potentially impactful for OAR, potential new projects, and suggestions for more efficient and effective ways to deliver products and services to internal and external customers.  The appointee oversees staffing activities and deliverables of the Financial Integrity Section which includes responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (Statewide CAFR) and other state financial reports as well as the coordination of the external audit of annual financial reports.  This responsibility also includes deliverables as a part of the annual bond disclosure reporting and bond issuance reporting as needed.  The appointee oversees staffing activities of the Federal Reporting Section which includes responsibility for planning and directing the aggregation of data for the statewide Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) as well as managing the Social Security Administration Section 218 Agreements for the State and managing the duties required to maintain compliance with the Cash Management Improvement Act (CMIA).  Annual salary range $75,000 - $85,000.  Go to, Job Requisition #198782.  EOE
