Bio

Shortly after graduating from Wichita State University in 2001 with a Master of Professional Accountancy, Cynthia obtained her CPA certificate by passing the exam on her first attempt. Cynthia joined the firm in February 2002 and was admitted as a Member in December 2012.

Cynthia manages the firm’s audit, review, compilation, and other attest engagements. She specializes in annual audits and cost certifications of multi-family housing entities that are developed or subsidized under the Section 42 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) or the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She also performs various engagements and 401(k) audits for not-for-profit organizations and for-profit entities in the manufacturing, distribution, and construction industries. Over the course of her career, Cynthia has been involved in over 1000 audit or cost certification engagements for multi-family housing projects funded with HUD insured loans, HUD rental assistance, federal and state LIHTC and historic preservation and rehabilitation tax credits.
